   If you're looking for a good and interesting Netflix show to watch and that will keep you on your feet, the whole time the I strongly wold recommend watching Gossip Girl. I know most of you reading this are thinking this is so basic but honestly who cares. this show is very addicting in my opinion. I have watched all six seasons of this show about three or four times. If you're the type of person to like romance mixed in with LOTS and LOTS of drama, and some intense parts then this is the show for you. Your emotions while watching this will be crazy. Who is Gossip Girl? you won't know until the very last episode. Gossip Girl is a website that tells everyone's secrets. People send in tips to this anonymous person about what they know and or hear about and      Gossip Girl posts a "blast" out about them on the Internet for everyone to know. In this show, you will go from liking someone in the beginning to hating them in the end and hating someone in the beginning to loving them in the end. You meet lots of new people in this show and the new people you meet you have to keep up with them because they are very important. I recommend this show because you are always thinking, wondering, and getting ideas of what you think will be happening. The director wants you to be on your feet and thinking the whole time to try and figure out what's going to happen. Once you think you know what is happening it will turn around and be completely different. By the end of the seasons you find out who the real Gossip Girl is and let me tell you it is someone you would never have expected it to be. I don't want to give away to much so go start watching now and find out everything. 

Post Exam

            The first major exam was what I had expected very much. Everything that was said in class was pretty much on the exam. However, I did think some parts were difficult to write. On this exam, you had to think about what to say about the question. The questions were worded to where you had to give a good response and not something short. You had to explain your answer pretty much. If you didn’t prepare for the test there is a good chance it is possible not to do very good. To prepare for this exam I wrote out the definitions, made some points to what the definition was if I did not understand it, read the chapters in the book and took some notes on that to summarize it, and looked over handouts that were given to us. If you take out at least 20 minutes of your day to look over what you need to study each day before the test there is a good chance you will be very successful on it. I have a short attention span so for me to study something is very hard. I have to make myself study for as long as I can before I can’t anymore. Being in a quiet place helps with studying for a major exam or something because it helps you focus. The things I would have changed on the test would be to make some of it multiple choice. Writing a lot of short answer responses gets frustrating and takes up a lot of time. The test could be both in my opinion. Multiple choice questions sometimes give your brain a rest from all the short answer responses and I think that it would be beneficial for the next exam to be both short answer and multiple choice.

Strive

            In the video Mr. Rollins says “sometimes your great ambitions will be momentarily stymied afforded and marginalized by people who are luckier.” I took this and thought about it and I thought about what it means. I believe it means not all of us come from the same thing. Not all of us come from wealth. We are all different and we all must work in a different way. Some people who come from money still must work to be successful. “Some of the greatest Americans, thinkers, artists, architects, politicians, and other movers, shakers, creators all over the world have come from very meager beginnings.” Mr. Rollins says this because I think he wants us to see that not everyone starts off with a lot. He tells us that some of greatest Americans didn’t come from a lot at the beginning and that they had to work to get to where they are today. “Just because you come from nothing you must not let that be something that holds you back.” When he says this in the video I think of something positive. I think about how many people did come from nothing but they are now successful. He begins to say that some people don’t know the value of things because it just gets handed to them. When I heard that I thought that is not always true. Some people who come from very wealthy families don’t always flaunt what they have. Yes, there are people out there who do but not all. He starts to separate people by what they have and don’t have and in my opinion I personally do not think that is right. There are different people in this world but everyone has had to work for what they want like I have said multiple times. He starts to make it seem like if you got it then you got it and there’s no in between. Everyone can be successful but not everyone wants to work to get there. If you want something you work for it and in the end, you will be rewarded with the outcome. When Mr. Rollins was younger he was sexually assaulted. He eventually suffered from depression and later on had to take medication for it. I think the reason Mr. Rollins is talking to us is because he dose not want us to give up on anything. He had to learn not to give up on things he wanted just because of his past. Mr. Rollins wants us to strive for what we want so we can get to where we want to be like he did himself.

Every day we think about something and most of the time it's something that is important to us. What's most important to me is my family and friends. I would not be the person I am today without them. My family and friends are the most supportive people I know. They give me so much motivation to do better in my life and with that it makes me not want to give up. My family is my rock and I know I will always be able to go back to them when I need anything. I believe it is very important to have a strong bond with your family and friends because no matter what you do they will always support you in what you do. Where I am today would not have been possible if it was not for my parents love and encouragement for me to keep trying harder to get where I want to be. My friends have been my backbone for as long as I can remember. Being with them has been a blessing because we teach each other and give each other as much support as possible. growing up, I was raised what right was from wrong, to be responsible, and to be respectful. Being raised this way by my parents has payed off as I grow up. It has made me look at life in a different way, and I see the good in people and the positive in everything and everybody. Once people start living life in a positive way it is so much easier to have motivation and support you need.  People will see a much different side of you when you start to live this way. When I started living a different life by being more positive all of my family and friends noticed. It really is a much easier lifestyle to live positive.
